I had mixed emotions watching the big three of Celtics leave the floor of Garden Arena and approach Doc Rivers to bid goodbye to a well-fought 7game series in NBA. Since Celtics is close to my heart too, tears fell down my face when Doc Rivers held back his tears as Garnett gave few words to his coach. I felt his disappointment and grief but i know he’s proud of the men he’s with on this journey. This will be his last appearance in the game of basketball and he failed to win his possible last NBA
Championship in his career. He led the team through the years of fighting for championship with the boys who were true enough to be called ‘Hall of
Famers’. And he himself has proved the league and the world his love and passion for the game as a coach. I have so much respect for Doc Rivers and despite the fact that i’m a solid Dwade fan, i will never regret and deny the truth that for a time, I adored the dangerous and feisty Big three - The Big Ticket- Kevin Garnett, The Truth - Paul Pierce, Ray Ray- Ray Allen. So long, coach Doc Rivers. Will miss your appearance on tv but as a fan, i’m more than happy to know that you will leave the game for good because you have so much love for your family and that it matters to you most. You are the man! I salute! :)
